Sir:

 

A request from a brother of yours: FERNANDO SESMA MANZANO, was satisfied by informing him that in the course of these months of the Earth year 1966-67 the arrival of one of our OAWOOLEA UEUA OEEMM (SPACECRAFT) was expected.

 

It is impossible for us to foresee very far in advance the optimum conditions for these journeys. Such conditions are linked to special characteristics of physical space which we have explained didactically on other occasions. We call them USAAGIXOO (which may be translated as ISODYNAMIC) when space “CURVES” (or, expressed more faithfully: When the components of space that we call IBOZOO UU orient their “ANGLES” in a direction different from the usual one in a region of the WAAM (UNIVERSE), you may consider that such a curvature has occurred, although the expression “orient their angle” will be confusing, as more specific words cannot be found in terrestrial languages.

 

These foldings or curvatures of space are aperiodic, which makes it very difficult to make long-term forecasts.

 

WE WISH TO INFORM YOU UNOFFICIALLY THAT:

 

The arrival on Planet OYAAGAA (EARTH) of THREE OAWOOLEA UEWA OEEMM is imminent. We calculate that the descent will take place, without a greater margin of error, between 21 hours 28 minutes GMT on 30 May and 23 hours 5 minutes GMT on 3 JUNE of the Earth year 1967.

 

The intervals between the arrivals of the three spacecraft for intergalactic journeys will not differ from one another by more than 7 hours (approximately).

 

The approximate points of OAWOOOLEIDAA have been foreseen (a physical phenomenon caused by our technology, whereby the subatomic particles of the craft change their orientation, which implies a change of three-dimensional frame of reference. In this way our journeys can be made). The onlooker, placed on Earth, will see the vehicle appear or disappear at the instant of the OWOOLEAIDAA.

 

These points (we do not specify heights above the ground) are:

 

BOLIVIA. ORURO area.

 

The descent will take place at a point within a circular area having as its centre the city of ORURO and a radius of 208 kilometres (margin of error in the radius, 4 km)

 

SPAIN. Madrid area.

           

The descent will take place at a point within the circular area whose centre has the following coordinates:

 

Longitude: 3º 46' 20'6” W

 

Latitude: 40º 28' 2'2” N

 

And a radius of 46 kilometres with a margin of error of 1.6 km.

 

BRAZIL. RIO GRANDE DO SUL area.

 

Vicinity of Santo Ângelo (The margin of error does not allow greater precision).

 

These forecasts were made on 27 MAY at 12 hours. As time goes on we could specify the margins of error at each moment. Other factors may, if necessary, modify the points of descent (though not the instants of time), owing for example to the presumable presence of obvious dangers:

 

These points of descent have been chosen for very complex reasons, among which are a minimum risk of detection by the government bodies of those countries, for certain access routes to our coordination centres on this planet, centres which are naturally confidential.

 

In giving you this information without first demanding guarantees of compliance, we ask you, and trust that you will agree, to comply with the following specifications:

 

First: You will not reveal the content of this note to any of the official bodies of the Spanish Administration, nor to any private technical office in the country, until after the arrival of our spacecraft has taken place. In any case, and should you not be aware of our OAWOOLEAIDAA, this commitment is cancelled from zero hours on 4 June 1967.

 

Second: No member of the group shall make confidences of any kind to the representatives of the PRESS, RADIO and TELEVISION of Spain or of another country accredited in the peninsula.

 

Third: We do not authorise you to spread this announcement of our arrival (descent of our brothers) using the normal means of circulation. Comments made confidentially within the family and social circles of the OEMII of the group are outside the prohibition.

 

Fourth: You may, if you wish, as official proof, make photocopies of this note to hand them to a registered Spanish journalist (always under the heading of confidential).

 

Fifth: In general, we will repudiate all acts of yours that may imply a conscious and coordinated intervention of the country's air forces, police forces and Government bodies of control, radiolocation, detection and analysis BEFORE OUR UEWA HAVE ARRIVED

 

Our respect for terrestrial institutions is well known, so we would only use our means of defence in cases of evident aggression. Any irresponsible act by the members of the group that we might record could provoke very serious consequences.

 

Nevertheless we consider that, if the above points are complied with, the risk is almost non-existent, given the sociological, technical and mass-psychology conditions in the country Spain.

 

Once our UEWA has come down in Spanish territory (The interval of ascent and descent will be very brief) and its mission has been fulfilled, and only in the event that, because of its landing point, it may have been sighted by irresponsible Spanish OEMII, you could consider the precautionary measures set out in the preceding paragraphs annulled. Nevertheless, you will try to control any emergency that threatens to cause an excessive spreading of the contacts we maintain with you. Such publicity would distort the genuine aims that move us to get in touch with you.

 

We are sorry we cannot satisfy your curiosity further regarding the time or place at which the event will occur. It is probable that it will take place in an area far from the capital Madrid, and it cannot even be entirely ruled out that the point may be located in the province of Toledo.

 

In any case, the descent will probably take place within the hours of minimum light. Should it be accessible to you, we have no objection to your recording it with photographic cameras.

 

Our craft have a circular plan with a maximum diameter of 7.1 (ENMOO) (Some 13.18 metres). They are easily distinguished because the diagram of our UMMOAELEWEE appears on their lower metallised rim in a matt colour which, during the interval of temperature rise, contrasts through its lower gradient with the luminescence of the rest of the surface. They rest on the ground by means of three extensible legs fitted with rectangular panels at their ends.

 

The magnetic disturbances generated by the craft can be recorded at a great distance if you have precision magnetometers, since their frequency is very low (variation of the field: 4.6 cycles per second).

 

Only in the event that, despite these warnings, the official bodies were alerted through other information channels to the descent of our brothers (such an emergency will easily be recorded by us), would we change the point of descent at the last moment, and it might take place in a country near SPAIN.
